Common Black-Hawk (Buteogallus anthracinus)

Order: BIRDS OF PREY (ACCIPITRIFORMES ORDER)
Family: KITES, EAGLES AND HAWKS (ACCIPITRIDAE)

Included in ABA Region.


Saw the bird near river that is within farmlands, . usually from noon till end of day, when the sun heat up the air and brings up thermal winds . Usually can be easily spotted when they soar high, The bird flew away once saw the camera pointed at it, I was still able to get a shot of it perching in a tree, Raptors usually do not respond to calls.
